PFA BOX 2009-01 - Gift to Kaltenbach

One of an occasional one-off Poems-For-All Box. This one was built as a thank you to artist Stephen Kaltenbach and was presented to him at the Jan. 8, 2009 preview of his latest exhibit at the Verge Gallery in Sacramento.

A mostly random selection of PFA booklets except the intentional placement of "Papersnake" a poem booklet by Phil Weidman featuring a poem about mail artist Ray Johnson's visit to Sacramento. Weidman and Kaltenbach have coloborated before.

Booklets wrapped and ready for the box.

Thank you note ready for the box.

Box filled and wrapped waiting for the installation of the "palm tree" card.

2009 Poems-For-All Checklist

A new year. Time for updates. Long overdue is an update to the PFA checklist. For the longest time the posted checklist only showed poems accepted into the Series up through 2007. This list is an improvement -- taking us into 2009 -- but still has gaps. It's a new year's resolution of mine to keep this more up-to-date. (We'll see how that goes.) That a poem has been listed here doesn't necessarily mean it's been published. The date and number are a reference to when it was entered into the Series. It may, however, still be waiting for the paper, staple and fold that bring it to life as a miniature book.

If you've found this list because you or someone you know googled your name and found this...Congratulations! Yes, that poem you sent to Poems-For-All one, two, three, four years ago has been or will be published. (Even if you didn't necessarily get a confirmation.) A polite email to richard@poems-for-all.com will mobilize me to send me your copies of your published poems. Include the address where you'd like them to be sent.

Note: Starting in 2008, the month of publication is no longer indicated.
